Studio: Workshop 2007

Peek inside the fashion sketching studio where young artists learned how to sketch to the industry standards of the fashion biz. But training went far beyond how to draw and paint. They researched trends and themes, developed a signature and line, picked a season, a customer, picked a color line and put together presentation boards....which they then 'pitched' in a mock portfolio presentation. The final day of class ended with a rockin' runway show. Artists took turns modeling and MC-ing, while class mates sketched quick and furious....as in attendance of a Milan or Paris fashion show!
