Learn the basics of sewing and more in one fun-filled week! Work at your own pace as you master your machine and along the way learn fashion industry ways of laying out fabric, holding scissors, ironing, and how to problem solve a very basic beginner pattern into your own unique vision.
A ‘sampler’ of machine stitches, hand sewing techniques and embellishments will aid in the transformation.
The week culminates in a trunk show produced by the students for their family and friends. A sewing machine is required, but two buddies can share a machine. A supply list and suggestions of fabrics will be provided upon registration. Fee does not include your choice of fabrics and trims.
