Jacque Lytle is 2012 Teaching Artist in the Sewing Studio. She is a familiar face in Summer Youth after retiring as Director in 2009. One of her retirement wishes was to return as a volunteer in some of her favorite classes that she watched grow into a very successful long term summer program for students interested in art and other creative endeavors including sewing. She has sewed throughout her life, taught sewing to high school students in her early professional life and studied dress design as a graduate student. Along the way she completed a Ph.D at Texas Tech in Human Sciences and worked in higher education administration and the nonprofit community for many years.
